Dr. Byrne offers a full range of services for patients of all ages. We work in accordance with regulations set by the Medical Council and the standards recommended by the Irish College of General Practitioners.

We aim to provide the highest quality care in the following areas:

  • Treating illness and managing health issues

  • Dealing with mental health issues

  • Working with community health workers

  • Educating patients in regard to their health

  • Referring patients to appropriate resources

Dr. Barbara Byrne

Dr Barbara Byrne completed a BA in psychology at UCD, coming first in her class in social psychology. She undertook a BA thesis to assess how children understand illness, and this underpinned her motivations to become a doctor.

She qualified from UCD in 2006. After that, she worked as a house officer in the national spinal injuries unit, hepatology, nephrology, and infectious diseases at the Mater Hospital. She qualified from the Midlands GP training scheme in 2013. Dr Byrne regularly attends meetings on the menopause and contraception. She is an experienced Mirena coil inserter.


Dr. Michele Corvin

Dr Michele Corvin graduated with honours in Medicine from UCD before completing the Dublin GP Vocational Training Scheme. She also holds diplomas in Child Health and Psychiatry.

With more than 25 years’ experience in general practice, Dr Corvin has cared for patients of all ages and supported individuals and families through a wide range of health concerns. She also tutors GPs in education and training with the Irish College of General Practitioners.

Dr Corvin believes in providing kind, practical, patient-centred care and building long-lasting relationships with her patients. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
